Outdoor Furniture & Structures Made from Reclaimed Local Trees
These raised beds are built from white oak lumber that is 1.25” thick, air dried and screwed together. If you are looking for the most durable and sustainable raised bed look no further. These are made from Madison trees that were either dead, dying or unsafe. The wood travels to Oregon for milling and then back to the wood shop right here in Madison for construction. We are currently making these in three sizes but custom beds can be made by sending an email to brent@heartwoodtreecompany.com.
Delivery is included.
We can install slats and a weed barrier inside the beds if you plan to have this on a patio or deck.
No more wondering if the aging picnic table in the yard will collapse if you sit on it. This picnic table is built for the long haul. A welded steel frame with a powder coat finish is paired with 1.5” thick black locust lumber to make this the longest living picnic table you will ever meet.
The wood is unfinished and can stay that way, black locust is the most durable and rot-resistant wood you can find. This table is also easy to take apart in case you need to move. A compact 5’ long and 4.5’ wide. Great for 4-6 people.
Want a different size? Just send an email to brent@heartwoodtreecompany.com and we can figure out dimensions and pricing. The metal base was made right here in south Madison by John Meister.
All cookies are cut with a chainsaw and green with a range between 2-4” in thickness. Checking and/or cracking may occur over time as the wood dries.
